Plain turned Boutique!

I bought this plain 18 month size shirt from Wal-Mart the other day and I have been trying to figure out how to spruce it up! Well, today I came up with a great idea and it is so adorable.

This is the plain shirt!

This is after I spruced it up!

Only on Mother's Day French Toast! YUMM

This is the BEST French Toast I have ever had! Oh my goodness, YUMM doesn't even describe it.

So here it is, hope you are ready for some yuminess.

Here are the ingredients
Texas toast (or some other thick bread, I prefer the sour dough from Cracker Barrel)
Whipped cream cheese
Fresh strawberries
1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
French Vanilla creamer (I got this idea from my fiance's mom!)
2-3 eggs (depending on how much french toast you are making)
First you want to cut the strawberries into slices. (always wash the strawberries before cutting) I prefer thin sliced because I don't really care for thick chunks, which ever you prefer will be fine. Then you want to lay out each piece of the bread and spread about 1-2 tbs of the whipped cream cheese on each slice of bread. Next, put the strawberries on half of the bread slices and then put the other piece of bread on top (make a sandwich). Now you will want to heat up your skillet to about medium heat. Take a bowl (one that will fit the sandwich in.) Simply whisk 3/4 cup of the french vanilla creamer, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg in the bowl. Once your skillet is heated then you dip both sides of the sandwich in the egg mixture and cook for about 5-7 minutes each side.

This is the creamer that I used! So good.

Look at those delicious strawberries
Here is the finished product! (I have got to get a better camera!)

Later in the day you can enjoy a delicious champagne!
All you do is take about 3 strawberries and muddle them with 1 tbs of sugar
(See below)

Now poor the champagne in to fill the glass. That is is! Enjoy.

A true Southern Fairy Tale picnic!

If you want a really amazing and magical feeling picnic use your regular dishes from home! Don't buy those paper plates and all of that throw away stuff, it is bad for the environment and not nearly as much fun... Just look at our gorgeous view and table. We had a wonderful day.

See the picnic basket! Even Yogi Bear would like a grab at that adorable thing.

This was the view looking up from our table!

Once we were finished eating we cleaned up everything and finger painted! Ava was caught red handed having a great time... :)

See her beautiful picture she made for me! I love it.

Lovely Crochet Scarf!

I haven't had much time lately for my crochet projects but, I made time to finish this cozy thing! I just love scarves in the winter they are so nice especially when they are handmade. Crocheting is a fantastic hobby and easy to learn. Thanks to Dr. Rebecca Block and Jenna Kranz at the Daytona State College Writing Center for teaching me the basics.

Easy Crochet Flower!

I am starting to make my own cards! It is so boring buying one from the store when I love doing creative things. THIS IS NOT THE CARD! I wanted to show you the crochet flower that I am going to put on a card LATER! I haven't crocheted anything in a while so this flower isn't really the best but I wanted to show you anyways. *If you would like to make your own, I got the tutorial from littlebirdiesecrets.com*

*Like always please forgive me for the horrible picture quality, I am hoping Santa will bring a new camera this year...*
